We felt very comfortable there. The food was great (even the children say) and the service was very good. It went like clockwork. Great ambience and grandiose view of the reservoir. Holiday feeling. That was before Corona. There is currently a great waffle stand, very tasty. Don't be put off by the long line. The distance makes it look worse than it is. The waffle baker gives everything 😉 and bakes pretty quickly. A very clear recommendation 👍

Despite the current situation, the employees here strive for full satisfaction. While others lean back, a lot is done here during the Corona period (e.g. the very tasty waffles) Respect people. Hold on. We miss you.

Ordered five three-course takeaway meals for Christmas. Four roulade menus and one specially composed vegan menu. Roulade was great - the vegan menu was a joke. No dessert, they forgot the salad and I think the picture of the main course speaks for itself. I can't understand the 15 € for pasta without sauce and 2 frozen vegetable patties. If you can't serve such special requests, you shouldn't accept - just an embarrassing achievement by the kitchen

Take away food. Ribs a little dry but totally thrilled for the price n okay. Maybe add a little sauce? Gladly again

Great location! Service and food unfortunately not so good. We had four different meat dishes and the opinions were all equally disappointing. I had a Wiener Schnitzel (nothing special) that didn't taste like anything and was served on top of the fries. All dishes were served without a side salad, not even on the plate for the eye. Pity!

We went to eat suckling pig here yesterday. Although it was fully booked here, all the service staff were super friendly and courteous. Kudos to the staff. Our children were super happy.

The location of this restaurant with a view of the reservoir is certainly second to none. It's just a shame that the food and service can hardly meet the high expectations resulting from the great location. While the meat dishes were still convincing, the poorly topped fish plate with a dollop of rice and bland sauce for the price of 18.90 euros was a cheek. The service tried hard, within the scope of its possibilities, but was helpless in the face of any constructive criticism. A cappuccino on the house would have been a friendly gesture. There is still a lot of room for improvement here - but we write reviews for that;).

Great gastronomy with that holiday feeling! Whether breakfast, lunch or dinner ... always worth a visit. Friendly staff and a good kitchen complete the whole thing.

We were there for breakfast on Saturday. Super solved with the Corona requirements. Super pleasant to have breakfast not too many people there. Gladly again. Super yummy

So we had to wait over an hour for our food. I thought that was a bit too long, although it wasn't even full that evening. When the food finally came it was only lukewarm. The waitress also seemed a bit overwhelmed.

Very delicious food, arrived quickly despite the busy period. The waitress really enjoyed her job. What we really missed were the umbrellas at every table. We didn't have any and everyone got sunburn afterwards, despite sunscreen. Then, after we ate, we left again quickly. It's really a shame, but otherwise everything was really great😊

Very nicely located at the reservoir. Spacious terrace and a great view of the storage tank. You can park at the restaurant or if you want to get some air down at the campsite. The menu is small but nice. Everything fresh and tasty. The service is quick and friendly. Special requests are taken into account and, if possible, also fulfilled. Prices are good and reasonable. Unfortunately very crowded in summer (before Corona). It's just very beautiful and at sunset you think you're in the south. It's worth it.

Great restaurant on the dike of the reservoir - I tried the menu for 14 days in the summer - I liked it very much there. The price is very reasonable, the staff super friendly, the Corona rules are well adhered to, the hygiene is right. We loved to be there so often: Great there!

Have been here several times, also with family and grandchildren. Today we were there from the clique and ate there. Was very good. I can only recommend. Hygiene: tables need to be disinfected faster.

The top of the dyke was finally awakened after a long slumber. Wonderful location with lots of attractions such as the beach with umbrellas reminiscent of the Caribbean and the rooms very much are nicely designed and invite you to linger. The outside area can completely shaded and has plenty of space to offer. The restaurant is excellent and the selection is extensive. Not to be forgotten is the service staff who are always attentive and leave nothing to be desired. The pace of the table staff is very fast and you never wait long. Great staff and very good cuisine ... looking forward to my next visit.

Fantastic place to unwind! 😁 Highly recommended as a stopover for cyclists along the Ems. Special feature: subtle, very well selected lounge music in combination with a fantastic view with the feeling of sitting by the sea

First class food in a nice atmosphere. The prices are normal and you can. Ideally, combine smoke with outdoor activities. The whole area is really very inviting and has a special flair.

Very satisfying and very luxurious for a cheap price thinking back at the big meals we got unexpectedly, I just couldn't believe my eyes at the sheer size of that plate.
